TUI Environmental Champion Award for Sensimar Minos Palace

TUI tour operator has granted the title of “2014 Environment Champion” ( TUI Umvelt Champion) to Sensimar Minos Palace, member of bluegr Hotels & Resorts.

Every year, questionnaires filled out by holidaymakers for TUI Deutschland together with measurable environmental performance are used to ascertain the most environmentally-friendly hotels worldwide from the customers’ point of view.

Since they were first given in 1996, the main goal of the “TUI Umwelt Champion” awards has been to recognize the achievements of those hotels that meet the technical and organizational requirements of sustainable and responsible hotel management, focusing on areas such as energy and water savings. Hotels that receive the title have passed an assessment process involving points awarded by official auditors; this reflects to environmental and social commitment in our hotels overall management.
